TKsoftware handles TKsmart’s user information as follows.

Pictures of collected/delivered goods.

Pictures taken of good when collecting or delivering good (to document the state of the goods) will only be visible to authorized users of the transporters TMS (Transport Management System). The TKsmart APP has no access to the devices picture gallery - Only images captured inside the app - connected to a specific goods item can be sent. It is the users personal choice to take or NOT take pictures of goods an of course his/her responsibility not to take pictures personally incriminating til him/her-self.

Device / vehicles location (latitude / longitude).

Location is NOT sent to the transporter you are driving for unless you actively allow this. If you DO allow this you can at any time undo this decision via settings. Location information is used by transport managers for 2 purposes...

to allocate new pickup orders to vehicles near new pickup points.
to document the vehicles location at the time of a pickup or delivery event.

At the end of the workday the driver will close the app - and locations are no longer sent.

TKsmart is pr 2017 only used as a business to business app (communicating with the Norweegian TMS-system "SYSPED"). In Norway - as long as at truck driver is at work - it is the employers right to information to know where he is - in order to being able to distribute orders to different truck drivers Agreements between drivers and their employers using SYSPED/TKterm may further ensure the drivers privacy.
